Why buy tickets online in advance?

Tickets are available online to provide the $3 discount for advanced tickets in case one can not make it to a local dance to purchase tickets there.  In addition, this allows the purchase of tickets with a credit card.  It is easier and less expensive than ordering tickets by mail.  You save the time and a stamp!  Advanced ticket purchasers also receive a special pre-printed color New Years Eve nametag.  Regular nametags will be available at the door.  We should all feel special on New Years Eve!

Why are we using PayPal to purchase tickets?

Neither the Hartford Community Dance or New Haven Country Dancers accept credit cards.  This is an easy, cost effective way to allow this option for our New Years Eve Dance.  Paypal is easy to use (for everyone), is very popular and has excellent reviews.  When a ticket is purchased through PayPal an email confirmation is sent.  Simply bring that email confirmation to the dance as proof of purchase.  We also have a list of tickets just in case you misplace or forget to bring your confirmation.

What if I am not a Paypal member?

It is easy to sign up for Paypal.  It takes a minute or two.  They have excellent privacy - no SPAM has resulted from my membership in the past two years.
